The size of gemstones

Primary planetary gemstones should be at least 1.5 carats in size, preferably over 2 carats (3 carats is a good size if one can afford it; 5 carats is optimal). Substitute gems require larger settings because their power is not as strong. In our shop all gems meet astrological requirement.

While gemstones can be expensive, they are a one-time expense that, if properly prescribed, can be useful for the entire life. Gems also retain their value or increase in value over time. Therefore, we should consider using them, in spite of their cost.

Where to place a gemstone?

All gemstones should be mounted so as to touch the skin. Otherwise, the energy from the planet will not be effectively transmitted. One can wear gems without the stone touching the skin but the effect will be reduced and remain mainly ornamental, not therapeutic in nature. This is not only essential for rings, but best for necklaces, bangles and all other settings. High quality gems are most effectively worn as rings. The fingers have a special capacity to conduct the influence of gems into the rest of the body because they are connected to the subtle channels of the mind and nervous system.
